Welcome to Quality Suite Amore – also known as Amore Motor Lodge Motel.
This wonderful Christchurch accommodation on Riccarton Road is just 100 m away from the Westfield Riccarton Shopping Centre, which is a large shopping mall filled with a variety of stores – from clothing to gaming to toys to department stores and everything in between. The mall is also home to a range of great places to eat, from KFC to McDonald’s and a handful of more upmarket restaurants. The mall also has a range of services on offer, such as Concierge Carwash or ZE Massage, as well as a variety of banks, travel agents and more.
Thanks to the array of shopping opportunities in the mall itself, as well as a number of standalone places in the vicinity of our Riccarton accommodation, our guests will find truly fantastic and convenient supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, bars and other amenities within 500 m of the motel.
For example, the Golden Fish Bar - which has a 4.5/5 rating on TripAdvisor - is situated right across the street and offers the best fish and chips in Christchurch.
If you’re more into healthy eating, Fruit Fusion is a great place to visit just a little further East on Riccarton Road. It offers a range of delicious smoothies fruit/vegetable-based dishes for the health-conscious.
The Naresh Foodstore is a friendly neighbourhood convenience store located on the corner of Riccarton Road and Puriri Street and is the perfect place to pick up a few essentials within walking distance of the motel - especially if you don’t want to face the hassle of entering the large mall.
The Remedy Pharmacy Riccarton is also conveniently located just around the corner from the motel on Wainui Street, should you need any kind of medicine or similar products during your stay at our Christchurch motel.
It is a short walk to Riccarton House and Bush, which hosts the famous Christchurch Farmer’s Market every Saturday. The 12-hectare reserve, which you can explore at your leisure, is filled with 600-year-old kahikatea trees.
The large Hagley Park is also only a couple of blocks away to the west, which is home to the Hagley Golf Club and the Christchurch Botanical Gardens.
It’s also only 15 minutes drive from our Riccarton motel to the city centre, the railway station and the airport, and only a short drive to the Blenheim Road and Addington business districts.
The motel is also situated within walking distance of several local churches, should you wish to attend any of them during your stay. These include the St Theresa of Lisieux Church, Community of St John, St Ninian’s Church and New Hope Church, among others.

BASIC STUDIO
Our Basic Studio is one of the most popular rooms for travellers visiting Christchurch, NZ. Slider doors let in huge amounts of light, and many of the units have patio furniture that you can enjoy. Inside, and the decor is tasteful and modern, with stylish fittings in the bathroom. There is a king-size bed as well as kitchen facilities that include a microwave, hotplate, and fridge. Remember, though, there are great places to eat close by if you don't want to cook, plus we can provide a continental breakfast on request.
Our Basic Studios also have an LED TV with Sky, wireless and wired internet, a heat pump/air conditioning, and more.

EXECUTIVE STUDIO
If you are looking for rooms in Christchurch, NZ, with a bit more space, our Executive Suites are ideal. They are set up for two people with a high-quality king-sized bed, but an extra bed can be brought in on request.
If you are on the ground floor, slider doors open to the outside and let in loads of sunlight. Some units even have a patio and garden furniture that is ideal for eating breakfast or enjoying the last of the afternoon’s sun.
You’ll also get all the other facilities that are in our Basic Studios, albeit with a bit more space.

TWIN EXECUTIVE ROOM
Our Twin Executive rooms have both a king-sized bed and a single bed, making them ideal for three people groups, including families with a child. All these rooms are also located on the ground floor, so are easy to access from the car park. The reception area is close by too.
You'll get kitchen facilities and all the other features of our Basic and Executive suites as well.

For larger groups, or people that want a bit more space than a lodge room, we have two-bedroom apartments available. The options include apartments with a king-size bed in one room and two singles in another, as well as apartments with a king-size bed in one room and a single king bed in the other room. The Amore Motor Lodge was a great place to stay. It was warm, clean and comfortable. It was really close to the Riccarton shopping centre and centrally located, which made it easy to get to where ever we wanted to go. Despite being on a busy road it was it was quiet in our room.
